Our new mobile-friendly website

7 August 2013

At our city tour in Chester on Thursday 25 July 2013, we unveiled our new mobile-friendly ‘Discover Medieval Chester’ website. If you visit http://discover.medievalchester.ac.uk on any internet-enabled phone or mobile device (such as an iPhone or iPad, or an Android phone or tablet) you’ll automatically be sent to the mobile-friendly version of the website. This tracks your position in Chester (most smartphones are GPS enabled) and you can follow your route through either the modern city or the medieval city map. The mobile site shows you places of interest near to your location and allows your explore all the multi-media resources you’re interested in (with the option of audio versions while you’re on the move). You can even follow curated or pre-loaded tours. We’d love to hear your feedback.
